The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analyzing key financial information to ensure that an organization’s management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budgeted figures.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
