Sasol Artisans Learnerships are available for aspiring artisans who want to develop skills in a real-world industrial environment. The learnerships are offered in various fields, including:
– Mechanical Fitter: Learn to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
– Instrument Mechanic: Develop skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing instruments and control systems.
– Electrician: Learn to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
– Turner: Develop skills in operating lathes and other machine tools to produce precision parts.
– Welder: Learn various welding processes and techniques to join metal parts.
– Boilermaker: Develop skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers and other pressure vessels.
– Chemical Plant Operator: Learn to operate and control chemical plant equipment and processes.
To be eligible for the Sasol Artisans Learnerships, you must:
– Have a completed National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification
– Have passed Technical Mathematics/Mathematics, English/Business English, and Technical/Physical Science
– Be willing to undergo a medical fitness test and security clearance
