A well-established medical insurance company based in Benoni, Gauteng is looking for a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards within the premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, stock control, and assisting with ad-hoc duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning the Premises:
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum building floors
• Gather and empty trash
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Clean and sanitize toilets using cleaning agents
• Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces
• Wash and store dishes
• Discard expired food from the fridge and wipe down appliances
• Stock Control:
• Request supplies and cleaning equipment as needed
• Ensure kitchens are stocked with groceries and condiments
• Refill and maintain stock in bathrooms
• Ad-Hoc Tasks:
• Stand in for the receptionist when required
• Clear meeting rooms and assist with other administrative duties
Essential Experience:
• Minimum 1-year of corporate cleaning experience
Desirable Experience:
• None
Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Good listening and interpersonal skills

• Friendly and approachable

Candidate Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Keep track of groceries/consumables for monthly purchases.
General cleaning of offices, blinds, wiping aircons, mopping, vacuuming to mention a few.
Wash dishes and ensure the kitchen and bathrooms are clean during the day and that the toilets have air freshener, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and sanitizer at all times.
Wash windows.
Ensure windows and taps are closed before leaving in the afternoon.
Sign office registers daily when cleaning.
Pack site consumables on a rotational basis.
Stand in for absent or on leave co-workers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Grade 11
L
