Premier FMCG, one of South Africa’s leading food manufacturers, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support its dynamic sales department in Vryburg. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operational environment, particularly those with a keen eye for detail, high levels of accuracy, and a strong commitment to service delivery.
The core purpose of this position is to assist the Salesman Driver in the daily delivery and distribution of Premier products, ensuring proper handling, safety compliance, and where applicable, the collection of cash and empty trays.
Tasks
- Check company products against the loading sheet and ensure accurate verification before dispatch
- Adhere to standard departure times to maintain efficient delivery schedules
- Ensure vehicle safety, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout operations
- Offload product at customer locations in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in cash collection from customers and perform daily cash-ins when applicable
- Maintain accountability and report all vehicle-related incidents or accidents to the Transport Department and Service Manager promptly
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of working experience within the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry
- Must possess a valid Code 10/C1 Driver’s License with PDP (Professional Driving Permit)

- Basic computer literacy

- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Working Conditions
- High-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- 6-day work schedule, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays, as required by the shift roster
- May be required to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including night shifts
